Fumigation 005.JPG
In Cuba, fumigation is a nationwide joint campaign between the health ministry and the Cuban army against the mosquitos Aedes Egypti and is ongoing for two months in the rainy season, and is compulsory for all households and businesses, as well as institutions. The fumes and their impact on human health are questionable. Fumigaters come unexpected with people often caught in surprise unprepared, having to leave their home for 50 minutes before the fumes evaporate.
