In Cuba, fumigation is a nationwide joint campaign between the health ministry and the Cuban army against the mosquitos Aedes Egypti and is ongoing for two months in the rainy season, and is compulsory for all households and businesses, as well as institutions. The fumes and their impact on human health are questionable. A morning summon up before soldiers get dispersed into the streets of Havana with allocated house numbers. On average a couple of soldiers carrying the heavy machine can achieve fumigation of up to 5o apartments per day.
